Description

Canna tuerckheimii (Indian shot plant). This species is an upright perennial, the leaves are ovate to lance-shape. The flowers are produced in spikes of orange-red blooms.

Grown for their striking flowers and ornamental foliage. They are generally used for summer-bedding displays and container growing. Suitable for coastal conditions. Attracts humming birds in suitable geographical locations.

Cultivation
