Description

Aciphylla scott-thomsonii (Giant Spaniard). This evergreen perennial has small green-yellow flowers hidden by spiny bracts on a large flowering spike held aloft over the rosette of glaucous, hard, strap-shaped leaves. Leaves are toothed, with pale yellow-green mid-ribs.
