Description

Cardiospermum halicacabum (Love-in-a-puff). This is a semi-evergreen, annual or biennial. It is a fast-growing climbing vine which is native to America. It will produce oblong leaves are hairy, pale green and 3-lobed leaflets that are pointed and toothed. In the summer there are clusters of inconspicuous white flowers. It will also bear fluffy seed pods which are each filled with black seeds.
