Description

Celmisia genus (New Zealand daisy). These are evergreen late spring and summer flowering perennials. The leaves are narrow and silvery-grey in colour the underside of the leaf sometimes has silver fur. The flowers are single and yellow-white in colour and daisy-like. They are hardy and will need a sheltered, sunny site with humus-rich, moist but well drained, sandy, acidic soil. You can propagate by division in early summer or by seed when fresh.
