Description

Ada aurantiaca (Orchid). This species is epiphytic has a compact form and produces tassel-like, rich orange flowers that bloom in late winter and early spring.

Cultivation

This plant needs frequent misting and cool conditions. Pot up in a mixture of pine bark and Sphagnum moss. Plants rarely flower until the roots fill their pots. Needs indirect light.

Divide older leafless pseudobulbs which can be removed for replanting, or from new growth which may appear from the bottom of the plant.
