Description

Chionodoxa luciliae (Glory-of-the-snow). This is a bulbous perennial species, with often recurved leaves. In early spring, it bears racemes of up to 3 star-shaped blue flowers, with white centres. This is a hardy stalked ornamental clump; the leaves are strap-shaped and grey green. It will produce a carpet of blue flowers which will appear in early spring.
