Description

Adiantum pedatum var. aleuticum (Western Maidenhair fern). Also known as Adiantum aleuticum, this is a deciduous, or semi-evergreen fern with short rhizomes and broadly ovate to kidney-shaped, footlike, pale to mid-green fronds, with oblong segments, black stalks and midribs. New fronds may be tinged pink when young.
