Evergreens, Shrubs or Trees
Grown for their flowers, fruits and overall appearance.
They are half hardy to frost tender, min 5-10C, and will require full light with fertile well drained but not too dry soil. You can water containerized specimens freely when in full growth, and moderately at other times.
You can propagate the seeds when ripe or by greenwood or semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.
White fly, red spider mite, mealy bug, lime-induced and magnesium-deficiency chlorosis may be troublesome.
