From my last post, waiting for them to bloom. Long time ago bought a shrub from the Palm Farm in Thornton Curtis. Well you got a good eye for a shrub i was…
Thin out crowded growth in spring. Stems require support. They are fully hardy to frost tender, min 5C and will need humus-rich, well drained soil. Give them a position in full sun with partial shade in the summer. Make sure you water them freely in the growing season, and less at other times.
Propagation is by seeds in the spring, or by softwood cuttings in late spring or by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.
Pests, diseases or disorders
Whitefly, red spider mite and mealy bug may be a problem.
