Description

Colchicum speciosum (Crocus). A deciduous ornamental perennial native of the Caucasus region including northern Turkey and Iran. Bears narrowly-elliptic, green leaves and white flushed pink purple, tulip-shaped, single flowers of petals in early autumn. 'Atrorubens' has purple-red flowers.
