Description

Commelina coelestis (Day flower). A fast growing perennial clump native to Central and South America including Mexico. In late summer to autumn bears attractive petalled purple-blue flowers that close in the afternoon. Mid green leaves appear from weak, semi-erect stems from a deep tuberous rootstock. Can reach a height of 1m.

Cultivation
