Cordyline genus (Club palm). This genus consists of evergreen shrubs and trees. They are grown primarily for their foliage, although some also have decorative flowers which are small and star-shaped; borne in large panicles and blooming in red, black or whitish tones.

They are half hardy to frost tender, min 5C. You will need to provide fertile, well drained soil with full light or partial shade.
You can propagate by seeds, offsets or suckers in the spring or by stem cuttings in the summer.
Red spider mite and scale insects may be a nuisance.
