Description

Crataegus oxycantha ‘Paulii’ (English hawthorn). This hawthorn is considered to be the toughest of the flowering trees. They will produce thorns and beautiful spring flowers and showy fruit in the summer and autumn. The English hawthorn will grow poorly in hot humid areas. The fruits are large and long lasting. It is a fast growing tree. The fruits are bright red.
