Description

Crinum bulbispermum. Probably the most cold hardy of all Crinums. It makes a clump of buried, short-necked bulbs which produce mid green broad, channelled, recurving leaves with wavy edges which usually die back after the plant flowers in late spring or early summer. The flowering stem is 1 m tall, producing a succession of long-stalked, funnel-shaped flowers that are whitish pink with a broad red stripe along the centre of the petal.
