Description

Crinum macowanii (Pyjama lily). A robust South African species plant which is dormant in winter. Flowers while in leaf in spring and early summer. The flowering stem can reach 1.2 m in height and produces a succession of large trumpet shaped white pink flowers with strongly recurved petal tips. The leaves form a wide rosette 1 m across.
