Crossandra genus (Firecracker plant). These are evergreen perennials, sub shrubs and shrubs. There are about 50 species in this genus. The leaves are simple and are arranged in simple pairs, and the flowers are produced in spikes of showy yellow flowers.

They are frost tender, min 5C. and will need partial shade or full light with humus-rich well drained soil. For a strong branching system, cut back the flowering growth by at least half in late winter.
You can propagate by seeds in the spring or by greenwood cuttings in late spring or summer.
Whitefly maybe troublesome.
