Curcuma genus (Queen lily). Genus of 40 species of reed-like, rhizomatous perennials, which often have fleshy roots and thick, aromatic rhizomes. They are found in seasonally drought-prone and tropical areas.
Where the temperature falls below 18 degrees, grow them in a warm greenhouse.
