Cycas genus (Fern palm). These are palm-like, slow-growing, woody-stemmed, evergreen perennials with pinnate fronds which spread from the top of a thick trunk.

Grown for their palm-like appearance.
They are frost tender, min 10-13C, and will prefer full light and humus-rich, well drained soil. Water the potted specimens moderately, less when not in full growth.
You can propagate in the spring by seeds or suckers taken from mature plants.
Susceptible to red spider mites, mealy bugs and scale insects under glass.
