Description

Cytisus kewensis (Broom). A hybrid between Cytisus ardoinoi and C. multiflorus. A deciduous, prostrate shrub to 45-75cm in height with trailing stems that will cover an area about 1.8m in diameter. Flowers are pale creamy yellow and slightly fragrant; they are produced in spring and are probably sterile. Raised at Kew Gardens at the end of the nineteenth century.
