Description

Dactylorhiza genus (Marsh orchid). These are deciduous terrestrial orchid perennials consisting of 3 outer sepals and 3 inner petals, the lowest of which is usually enlarged. Many species have spotted leaves and most have pink flowers with darker spots.

Cultivation

Except in mild areas, orchids are best grown in pots and kept in greenhouses during cold weather and winter.
