Deschampsia genus (Hair grass). This genus will consist of mainly evergreen perennial grasses that have a wide distribution throughout the world’s temperate zones. They can be used fresh or dried for floral indoor arrangements. If you plant in groups you will achieve a mass of blooms in your garden. The flowers are bisexual with males and females in the same spikelet. Each flower head comprises spikelets, with one or more florets, that are covered with glumes or scales.
