Dipsacus genus (Teasel). The genus consists of 15 species of biennials and short-lived perennials from Europe, Africa and Asia. They have bristly or prickly leaves arranged in opposite pairs on the strong stems, which branch into long-stalked. The flowers are small white, pink or purple which appear from the base of the head.
