Disporum genus (Fairy bells). There are between 10-20 species of spreading or upright woodland plants. They will produce arching stems with attractive lance-shaped, alternating leaves. The green-yellow flowers are bell-shaped and hang under the stems. They are fully hardy and will require a cool, semi-shaded position with humus-rich soil. You can propagate by division in the spring or by seeds in the autumn.
