Description

Echinops ritro (Globe thistle). This is a compact deciduous, perennial clump, The flowers are thistle-like and round, they are produced in shades of blue in the summer. The leaves are pinnatifid to pinnatisect and grey-green, they are smooth on top and hairy on the underside. You will need to divide only after the plants are at least 3 years old, they are easy to grow.
