Description

Elaeagnus × ebbingei ‘Limelight’. Has glossy, dark green leaves with central, yellow and pale green marks. In autumn, small, fragrant white flowers appear.

Cultivation

They are fully to frost hardy, most evergreen species will thrive in sun or shade, but those with silver leaves and deciduous species will prefer full sun. They will also need fertile, well drained soil. Trim hedges in late summer.

Propagation

You can propagate the species by seeds in the autumn or evergreen forms by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer, deciduous forms by softwood or semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.
