it has been a while since I wrote anything, and as my Hostas turn autumnal, my thoughts turn to other things. Incidentally they are going down early this…
They are fully to frost hardy, most evergreen species will thrive in sun or shade, but those with silver leaves and deciduous species will prefer full sun. They will also need fertile, well drained soil. Trim hedges in late summer.
Propagate from seed for deciduous species (which fruit freely) and cuttings for the evergreens.
Pests, diseases or disorders
Susceptible to coral spot.
