Epacris genus (Australian heath). These are evergreen, heath-like shrubs from Australia and New Zealand. They will bear lance-shaped to linear, mid green leaves with bell-shaped flowers. They are frost tender, min 5C and will need full sun with humus-rich well drained, neutral to acidic soil. You can water the potted plants moderately when in full growth, and less at other times. You can propagate by seeds in the spring or by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.
