Description

Erigeron genus (Fleabane). These are low bushy plants that are spring and summer flowering annuals, biennials and perennial shrubs. The daisy-like flowers are upright stems of pink, white or blue blooms, the leaves are spoon-shaped.

Interest and use

Flower heads are good for cutting. Mixed herbaceous border or rock garden. Suitable for coastal conditions.

Cultivation

Division in spring or early autumn or by seed in autumn, selected forms by softwood cuttings in early summer.

Pests, diseases or disorders

Powdery mildew may cause problems.
