Description

Erinacea genus (Hedgehog broom). This is a dense compact, slow-growing, evergreen sub-shrub, It has hard sharp, blue-green spines and pea-like flowers. They will produce short-lived, soft leaves in the spring. They are frost hard, and require a sheltered position with full sun and a deep, gritty, well drained soil. You can propagate by seeds when available or by softwood cuttings in late spring or summer.
