Description

Erinacea anthyllis (Blue broom). This slow-growing but long-lived subshrub grows to 35cm tall and eventually 1m wide. The pale blue, pea-shaped flowers are produced in the axis of the spines in late spring into summer. This is a good prickly subject for a sunny, sharply drained rock garden.
