Description

Allium fistulosum ‘Kyoto Market’ (Japanese Leek). This bunching or salad onion variety has a very mild taste, good green leaves and a large blanch.

Origin

This is an old variety from the Kyoto region of Japan and one of the 'kyo yasai' or traditional vegetables being used since the Edo period of the early 1800s.
