Description

Escallonia ‘Apple Blossom’ (Escallonia). This variety is wind resistant and ideal for hedging in coastal gardens. It is an attractive bushy, dense evergreen which will bear apple-blossom pink flowers in early to mid-summer. It has dark green glossy leaves. They are marginally frost hardy, it will grow to a height and spread of about 1.8m.

Cultivation

They are frost hardy, but in cold areas protect from strong winds and grow against a south or west facing wall. They will requires full sun and fertile, well drained soil. Trim hedges and wall-trained plants after flowering
