Description

Escallonia ‘C.F. Ball’ (Escallonia). Vigorous, erect, open, evergreen shrub with broadly oval to obovate, deeply toothed, glossy, dark green leaves. Bears tubular, deep reddish pink flowers in short racemes throughout summer.

Interest and use

Grown for their profuse, 5 petalled flowers and glossy foliage, which is very attractive to bees. Suitable for coastal conditions.

Cultivation
