Description

Escallonia ‘Langleyensis’ (Escallonia). Leaves are small, glossy and bright green with racemes of profuse, disc-shaped, red-pink flowers from early summer to late summer.

Grown for their profuse, 5 petalled flowers and glossy foliage, which is very attractive to bees. Suitable for coastal conditions.

Cultivation

They are frost hardy, but in cold areas protect from strong winds and grow against a south or west facing wall. They will requires full sun and fertile, well drained soil. Trim hedges and wall-trained plants after flowering

You can propagate by softwood or semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.
