Description

Eucryphia genus (Brush bush). These are evergreen, semi-evergreen or deciduous trees and shrubs There are about 6 species they have pure white flowers. They are frost hardy, and will need a sheltered, semi-shaded position in all but mild, wet areas, It is best with the roots in a cool, moist, shaded position and the crown in the sun. They will require fertile, well drained soil that is lime-free. You can propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.

Grown for their foliage and often fragrant, white flowers.

Cultivation
