Description

Eupatorium cannabinum (Hemp agrimony). Tea was made from the leaves and it was taken to help the effects of influenza. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe. STEM: Upright, few branches. ROOT: Woody stock. HAIRS: Short, almost throughout. STIPULES: Absent LEAF-STALK: Much shorter than blade. BRACTS: Purplish around head; none between florets. FLOWER STALK: Absent; short under head. SEPALS: A ring of hairs. PETALS: 5, joined, tubular, lobes equal. STAMENS: 5, joined into tube. STIGMA: 1, 2-lobed; style long. OVARY: 1, below petals, 1-celled. SEEDS: 1, not released.
