Feijoa genus. This genus consists of evergreen, summer flowering shrubs and trees, They are grown for their foliage, flowers and edible fruits. The leaves are oval and glossy green with a silver undersides. The flowers are red, white and yellow and will appear in mid summer. They are frost hardy, and will need a sheltered, sunny site with light, well drained soil. You can propagate by softwood cuttings in the summer.
