Anyone recognise this Fuchsia? It's a bit like 'Thalia' but larger chunkier blooms. Also appears to be quite hardy.
They are frost hardy to frost tender, min 5C, Most of the species will need a sheltered partially shaded position, with fertile moist but well drained soil. Prolonged low temperatures cause loss of top growth. If top growth dies in winter, cut back to ground level in spring. When grown as pot plants in a green house, fuchsias also need high-nitrogen feeds.
Sow seeds in spring. Propagate by softwood cuttings in any season.
