Description

Galax genus (Wandflower). This genus consists of shade-loving perennials which will produce tough glossy almost circular leaves with toothed edges. In late spring or early summer the leafless flowering stems will rise well above the foliage and open into spikes of small, pure white flowers. They are fully hardy and will need shade and moist peaty, acidic soil. You can propagate by division of rooted runners in the spring.
