I am totally entranced by the detail on this beautiful flower!
Gazania genus (Treasure flower). There are about 16 species of low-growing annuals and perennials. The leaves are entire or deeply lobed, long and narrow, they are often dark green on top and white or silver grey-felted beneath. The bright single flowerheads are borne singly on short stalks. They are yellow, orange, pink, red, purple shades blooming from mid spring until the summer.

Useful for summer bedding, pots and tubs (containers). Walls, rock garden, ground cover.
They are half hardy and will require a sunny position and sandy soil.
You can propagate by seeds in the spring or by heel cuttings in the spring or summer.
Prone to grey mould in damp conditions.
