Description

Geranium lucidum (Shining cranesbill). This species is an annual, it will produce reddish smooth stems growing to around 45cm high. The succulent glossy leaves are about 5cm across are shallowly lobed. The flowers are small deep pink blooms in the spring and summer.

Interest and use

Grown for their attractive flowers and often as ground cover. Compact species are suitable for rock gardens. Suitable for coastal conditions.
