Description

Gynura aurantiaca (Velvet plant). This is an evergreen perennial or subshrub about 60cm high. It has scrambling stems covered with purple hairs. The leaves are ovate and toothed about 20cm long. The flowers are produced in clusters of narrow orange-yellow blooms mainly in the winter.
