Habranthus genus. There are about 10 species in this genus. They have strap-shaped to linear leaves and will produce crocus-like blooms; they will flower from mid-summer to late autumn. In late winter the plants will die back but they are rarely completely dormant and will resent dry storage. Frost to half hardy. They need a sheltered, sunny site and fertile soil that is well supplied with moisture in growing season.
