Description

Halimium genus. These are herbaceous perennials or dwarf shrubs. They have small narrow leaves and 5- petalled, white or yellow flowers with a reddish, purple or brown blotch at the base of the petals. Grown for their showy flowers. It is good for coastal gardens. Frost hardy, but in cold areas needs shelter. Does best in full sun and light, well drained soil. Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in summer.
