Description

Helleborus × hillier (Hellebore). These are perennials, some of which are evergreen. Most of the deciduous species retain their old leaves over the winter; these should be cut off in early spring as the flower buds develop. They will produce beautiful flowers which will bloom in white, green, red or purple. It is excellent in woodlands. Fully to half hardy. Prefers semi-shade and moisture-retentive, well drained soil.
