Description

Hesperaloe genus. These are perennial basal-rosette succulents. The leaves are very narrow, strap-shaped and they are grooved and dark-green, often with peeling, white fibres at the margins. Is closely related to the Agave and Yucca. Offsets freely at base. Frost tender, min 3C. Needs a sunny position and very well drained soil. Propagate by seed or division in spring or summer.
