Description

Hieracium lanatum (Hawkweed). This species of perennial produces broadly spoon-shaped leaves about 10-15cm long; they have a short dense coating of whitish hairs that give the leaf a pale grey hue. The flowering stems will branch into loose panicles up to 45cm tall with golden-yellow flowerheads about 25mm across; they will open in late spring and early summer.
