Description

Acacia cavenia (Roman Cassie). Also known as Vachellia caven and Mimosa caven. This thorny shrub, which can grow to 5 meters in height, has bright yellow, fragrant pom-pom flowers all along its branches. It also has thick white thorns 2cms long in length. Foliage is grey green and the fruit pods are short, and ripen from bright green to burgundy-brown.
