I have had this plant 5 years. If it is the same plant, mine isn't upright at all.

Hi Carol, I don't quite understand the question: do you mean that your plant doesn't match the description on the Plant Listing to which the Tag links?

If so, I see what you mean - it is described below the picture as "This is a stiff upright perennial" but it is also described as "semi-trailing". Perhaps it means that the leaves are held stiffly upright?

Perhaps the GPS Team could have a quick look at the plant listing and let us know!

We would agree it was not the best description for this cultivar. We have a system where, if there is not a description written specifically for the plant, the 'parent' description appears as the description, but in italics. So the description you read was, in this case, carried over from the parent species Peperomia clusifolia.

We have, however, now written a specific description for Peperomia clusifolia 'Tricolour' which I hope you agree describes it better.

Thanks for pointing this one out.
