Looking for plant donations!

We're developing our school grounds and are looking for donations of plants to help us. We want to plant up some tyres so looking for shrubs or perenials that dont require a huge amount of maintainance. Also wanting to make some small world play tyres, turning them into various 'lands' such as for dinosaurs so looking for suitable plants to help with these imaginary worlds such as succulants, ferns, grasses etc. We will also be planting a sensory garden over the next month or so, so looking for any ideas for that. maybe lambs ear, poppies, galic, herbs etc. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have a tyre planted up with chives which were originally purchased as a growing herb from the supermarket

That's a cheap way to buy herbs and a good idea. Did they grow well then? Thanks.

Very well. Plant is about three years old and bees enjoyed it today!

Camomile & thyme would be great for a sensory garden when you touch them they give out aroma, my grandson who has Mosaic Down's Syndrome & is Autistic loves to rub his hands on the ones I have & does the plants no damage
